S*Asynjas Tro

The first time I saw her was at the breeder’s house in Gothenburg, she was reserved by a friend of mine. Every time I saw her I felt she was fascinating. After all those years I still can’t say what makes her this special to me. Is it her temper, or her charm? She is certainly not perfect, but Tro is a big cat with a robust look, thick legs and a marvellous coat. When this friend stopped breeding in 1999, I hesitated not for a second and bought her instantly. The introduction into the group went without any problem. Which could not be said about getting pregnant much to my regret? We have seen every thing going wrong with her, from not getting pregnant at all to phantom pregnancy and miscarriages, until finally her mating to Buddy resulted in one beautiful kitten: Thule’s Snøprinsen. In agreement with the vet she was neutered at her Caesarean. Now she is doing what always has been her favourite pass-time, strolling around in the garden and catching birds. She will live out her life as a neuter with us.
 

The 21th of August 2012, at the beautiful age of 15 years, 5 months and 7 days our old lady passed away. She rest in our garden next to her only lover Buddy. She will be deeply missed because she was always there, waiting for us, a hug and food.
